Artist Statement…

I am a self-taught artist interested in capturing the calm and peace of being in nature.  I paint primarily landscapes of our local Ontario scenery working in acrylics or watercolour. I generally work in my home studio using photographic references of local scenes. I am inspired by the changing light on my daily walks with our dog on our farm in Erin Ontario.
